We've had a nice mention in Bosham Life magazine, courtesy of the Old Bridge Meadows association

Rachel Smith of the Association has sent in a report to the local magazine saying that we are exploring the idea of a concert in the Summer.
Well, it is more than exploring, it is booked at the Bosham Village Hall, and I'm about to register the event with the Chichester Festivities. Just waiting on a few words from Richard about his booking the hall and agreement on sharing the returns and the prices. Date is June 25th, Saturday.

First gig of the Year at Cocking to launch their New Village Hall

M/s Susan Redshaw the chair of the Cocking Village Hall, has asked us to open their new village hall on 14th January. We regard that as a bit of an honour. Up to now they have had nowhere to hold their events. Their theme is "Beating the blues" and that seems appropriate, coming out of this cold weather spot. The lads and Maria are all up for it.

We've got the song list, and just have to check on starting times and suchlike. Looking forward to it

Hi, players. Bosham worshops start again on Sunday 9th

Start time 7.30 as usual. At CreekStart time 7.30 as usual. At Creek End near Chichester.
We'll run through some songs we need to work on, maybe look at Milestones, the Miles Davis song and the old Ellington song, Poinciana. This one is in our song list but we have not practised it. Wonder if we can run the Stevie Wonder Superstition theme on guitar and drums in the introduction then move with strings into the song. might be nice. what do you think Steve - worth a try?

Last workshop before the gig at Cocking the following Friday.
